On Thursday afternoon, the boys’ soccer team took care of Portledge, 4-0, in a league match in Locust Valley. It was the Bears’ third straight shutout vs. the Panthers to go along with 3-0 and 5-0 wins during last year’s inaugural season in the PSAA.
The Brook scored three first half goals to build an insurmountable lead on the way to the 4-0 victory. Mo Romeus and Devin Saraniero each netted a pair of scores while Owen Sobel and Brandon Gicquel added assists.
The Bears are back in action on Monday in a home tilt with Long Island Lutheran in a rematch of last year’s PSAA Championship.
