On Tuesday afternoon, the girls’ tennis team won their PSAA opener with a 5-0 win over Long Island Lutheran.

Sadhana Sridhar (6-0, 6-0), Carina Cristobal (6-0, 6-0), and Marta Bennett (6-0, 6-0) cruised through the singles matches while Alanna Wu and Isabel Guo (6-1, 6-0) and Wonder Wei and Mary Wang (6-0, 6-1) earned comfortable wins at doubles. Additionally, Sridhar earned a rare Golden Match by not yielding a single point to her opponent, achieving 48-straight points in the process.

The girls are back in action on Tuesday in a non-league match-up at Hauppauge.
