On an unseasonably warm Wednesday afternoon, Zach Mogambi earned a pair of throwing victories at the Port Jeff Steeple Fest.

With heaves of 46′ 3″ in the shot put and 153′ 5″ in the discus, the latter of which placing him #1 in NYSAIS and #3 overall in the state, the senior won two of what could be many first place medals this season.

Lilly Keegan also had a fine day with a victory in the long jump (16′ 3.5″) and an 8th place finish in the triple jump (32′ 2.25″).
