Yesterday, Colin Scanlon ’21, along with his Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 4×400 relay team, was named All-West Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the indoor season.

Scanlon, along with Massimo Bertini, Christian Campbell, and Kai Dettman, notched a season-best mark of 3:23.57, good enough for the top spot in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and 30th in all of Division III.

The team has already thrown down a conference-best outdoor mark of 3:21.08 this season, currently the second-fastest time in all of Division III. Scanlon is back on the track on Saturday in the Occidental Distance and Sprint Carnival.
