Passalacqua slides into second during the 2002 season

On this day 19 years ago, Anthony Passalacqua ’99 went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and a home run in Erskine College’s 9-8 win over Saint Andrews Presbyterian College. The former Bear ripped a solo homer in the 5th inning and stroked an RBI single in the 6th as the Flying Fleets held off the Knights to improve to 12-3 on the season.

In 2003, Passalacqua led the team in batting average with a .391 mark and was the 14th toughest batter to strikeout in the NCAA with just 8 fans in 175 at bats.
