Yesterday evening, Chase Audige ’17 and the Northwestern University men’s basketball team topped Nebraska, 77-65, to level their overall record at 13-13.
The former Bear notched 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in a team-high 29 minutes. The redshirt junior hit a 3-pointer just 21 seconds into the game and the Wildcats never trailed from there as they took a 37-31 lead into the half before cruising to the win. Audige is currently second in the Big Ten with 1.9 steals per game in conference play.
Audige and the ‘Cats are back in action on Friday when they travel to Happy Valley for a match-up with Penn State.
