Audige & ‘Cats Can’t Hold Off Michigan St.

On Sunday afternoon, Chase Audige ’17 and the Northwestern University men’s basketball team welcomed #10 Michigan State to Evanston, IL with a chance to move to 2-0 in the Big Ten and earn an early signature win, but the Wildcats allowed a 13-point first half lead to slip away in a 67-73 loss to the Spartans.

Sunday was Audige’s fourth game of the season after missing the first seven due to a hip injury, and Northwestern’s Swiss Army Knife impacted nearly every facet of the game, finishing with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists, and a block.

Audige and the ‘Cats return to the court on Wednesday as they host Penn State in a Big Ten match-up.
