Swimmers Cruise Past Floyd

On Tuesday afternoon, the girls’ swim team celebrated Senior Day with an 80-51 victory over William Floyd in home waters.

Kaitlyn Tse (200 free/2:16.38), Amelia Griffin (200 IM/2:25.16 & 100 free/58.09), Ruthie Crane (50 free/26.84 & 500 free/5:28.50), and Sofia Arrascue (100 butterfly/1:10.23 & 100 backstroke/1:07.78) were individual winners for the Brook. Griffin, Tse, Arrascue, and Crane also combined to win the 200 medley relay in 1:59.90, while Tse, Kim Ward, Duretti Teressa, and Naomi Crane won the 200 free relay (2:04.22).

Other highlights included, Kate Hunt chasing down a Colonial in the 100 breaststroke and out-touching them at the wall by just 0.2 seconds, Nevaeh Pulipati swimming two strong anchor legs for the 200 free and 400 free relays, and Trinity Kim putting her extra practice to good use with some great dives in her relay swims.
