On Saturday morning, the wrestling team took down Jericho, 36-21, thanks to several late pins that tipped the scales.

The Bears trailed 0-9 early, but consecutive pins from Carter Brett (138 lbs/5:33) and Nathan Han (145 lbs/1:03) vaulted the Brook into the lead.

Two straight pins for the Jayhawks gave them a 21-12 advantage, but the Bears closed the match with four straight pins to take the win. Yinka Ashiru (170 lbs/0:31), Eze Barrah (195 lbs/2:42), Jason Kim (220 lbs/0:22), and Akinade Peter-Koyi (285 lbs/0:18) closed the match with authority for a 36-21 victory.

The Bears are back on the mat this afternoon in a home PSAA match-up with Rye Country Day.
