On Saturday morning, Riley Corcoran returned to the Brown Northeast Invitational held at Goddard State Park in Warwick, RI. The senior took 13th place in the Division I Varsity race’s field of 180 in a career-best time of 16:10. The mark also placed him 20 seconds below MileSplit’s U.S. Silver Standard of 16:30 for 5,000 meters.
He slashed over a minute off his time in the same race from a year ago when he ran 17:27 to claim 47th place. Corcoran rejoins his Blue & White teammates on Monday in the PSAA Championship at Van Cortlandt Park as the Bears look to repeat as League Champions.

He also made the Milesplit US National Silver Standard by 20 seconds!
