On this day 38 years ago, the boys’ tennis team capped a second consecutive League Championship season with a 7-0 win over Pierson.
Nels Ortlund (6-3, 4-6, 6-4), Tom Swanson (6-0, 6-1), Henry Hsu (6-4, 6-1), and Larry Dy-Liacco (6-1, 6-0) took singles wins while Mitch Bookbinder and Rob Nardiello (6-2, 6-2) and Sharon Maguire and Paul Bastin (6-0, 6-1) earned doubles wins. The third doubles match was a forfeit for the Brook.
