Swimmers Sink Two in Quad Meet

Yesterday afternoon, the boys’ swim team traveled to Horace Mann for a quad meet and came home with victories over North Rockland HS (96-73) and Berkeley Carroll (108-59). They fell by just six points to the hosts, 82-88.

Gavin Paton (50 free) and Oliver Griffin (100 free) earned first place finishes for the Bears, while Hugo MacDonald (100 butterfly) earned a runner-up finish. MacDonald (200 IM), Will Tao (100 butterfly), Christian Duryea-Kelly (500 free), Stephen Cisz (100 free), and Chris Liu (100 breaststroke) earned key third-place finishes for The Brook.

In addition, Andrew Burke, Joshua Kim, Jason Lu, Duryea-Kelly, and Cisz swam lifetime bests on the day.

The Bears are back in the water this afternoon in a Senior Day match-up with Friends Seminary.
