

Yesterday evening, the Northwestern University men’s basketball team opened the regular season at home with a comfortable 85-54 non-conference victory over Chicago State.
Chase Audige ’17 was a catalyst in the win with 13 points, a career-high 9 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals in 30 minutes of action. The Wildcats held a 16-13 lead before using a 9-0 run that led to a 37-21 margin at the break. They outscored the Cougars 48-33 in the second half to cruise to a lopsided win.
Audige and the ‘Cats are back on the court on Friday evening when they host Northern Illinois.
