(PC: Gabriella Sun)

Yesterday afternoon, the girls’ swim team topped Sachem East, 48-41, to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Naomi Crane (100 freestyle), Brooke Shteierman (100 butterfly), Genevieve Rochlin (200 individual medley), Amelia Griffin (50 free), Kaitlyn Tse (100 breaststroke), Tiwa Ojutiku (100 backstroke), and Ruthie Crane (500 free & 200 free) were individual winners for the Bears. The Brook also took two of the three relays vs. the Arrows as Ojutiku, Duretti Teressa, Tse, and Naomi Crane won the 400 free and Ojutiku, Amy Wu, Rochlin, and Tse powered to first in the 200 free.

In addition, Naomi Crane, Shteierman, Jemima Kirabo, and Rochlin turned in a combined five best times to cap an exciting afternoon in Swanson Natatorium. The Bears are back in the pool on October 20 in a home match-up with Sachem North.
