Yesterday afternoon, the golf team topped Babylon, 7-2, in non-league action at Pine Ridge Golf Club.
Madison McCarty, Edward Kim, Landon Nydegger, and Michael Zheng won their individual matches, while Michael Chen and Forest Kaplan-Walbrecht turned in solid rounds to contribute to the team score. The Bears outdistanced the Panthers in the team score by a combined 8 strokes. Madison’s birdie at the par-3 7th hole proved to be a highlight of the match.
The Bears are back in action next Thursday in a match-up with Rocky Point at Rolling Oaks.
