Audige Helps Northwestern Roll Past NJIT

Audige in action last year

Yesterday afternoon, the Northwestern University men’s basketball team improved to 7-2 on the season with a 70-52 win over NJIT, thanks to 11 points from Chase Audige ’17.

The former Bear connected on 4-of-10 shots, including a 3-pointer, and both free throw attempts to help power the Wildcat offense. In typical fashion, Audige also used his length and athleticism to impact other facets of the game as he pulled down 6 rebounds and pilfered a pair of steals to catalyze a defense that forced 16 turnovers and held the Highlanders to just three points over the final eight minutes of the game.

Audige and the ‘Cats return to action on Saturday in a home match-up with DePaul.
