On Monday afternoon, the wrestling squad built on their momentum from Saturday’s double-header win over Churchill and Storm King with a 48-24 victory over Long Island Lutheran to open their PSAA slate.
Forest Kaplan-Walbrecht (122 lbs/4:48) and Eze Barrah (197 lbs/3:09) earned pins for the Brook while the Bears also earned six forfeits by filling out a number of weight classes that the Crusaders could not match.
The Bears are back in action on Friday in a home non-league match-up vs. Smithtown East.
