After a 7′ 3.75″ performance in last Saturday’s Hoosier Open men’s high jump, Jyles Etienne ’17 earned the second Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week honor of his Indiana career. He previously won the distinction as a freshman when his 7′ 3″ leap won the Hoosier Open in his first collegiate meet.
The high-flying junior set both a personal best and meet record with the jump to win his third consecutive Hoosier Open crown and place himself atop the early season national rankings.
