On this day 14 years ago, Nick Miaritis ’01 earned ECAC 1st Team All-Conference honors for the Georgetown men’s lacrosse team.

This is Miaritis’ first All-League honor after setting a new career mark with 21 goals this season, which ranked in a tie for second on the team. Miaritis was named the league’s Riddell Offensive Player of the Week in early April after a career-high four goals in GU’s victory at Navy and netted 45 goals in his four seasons at Georgetown.

Miaritis, who also served as team captain in 2005, was later named an Honorable Mention All-American.
