On Saturday May 25, Jyles Etienne ’17 and a field of 47 other high jumpers will take off at the NCAA East Preliminary held in Jacksonville, FL. The top 12 finishers will join the top 12 from the West Preliminary in Sacramento, CA to form the NCAA Championship field.

A week ago, Etienne took the bronze at the Big Ten Championships with a leap of 7′ 2.5″, the best outdoor jump of his collegiate career. The leap has him slotted in a tie for 8th in the field of 48.

The high jump competition will begin at 4:00pm.
