This afternoon, the badminton team topped 4th-seeded Knox, 9-0, in a PSAA semifinal match to move on to tomorrow’s championship.

Jerry Liu (15-6, 15-9), Glen Choi (15-1, 15-5), Mary Wang (15-6, 15-3), Leslie Kang (15-2, 15-4), and Nancy Man (15-5, 15-4) won the singles matches while Jack Yu and Caleb Spreckels (15-2, 15-9), Lily Zhang and Ella Liu (14-15, 15-10, 15-8), Ruby Li and Jessie Wang (15-11, 15-12), and Lucien Liu and Louise Lin (15-12, 15-13) swept the doubles matches to earn a berth in the inaugural PSAA badminton final. A victory would give the Blue and White a league-leading 13th team championship on the year.

The Bears face 2nd-seeded Long Island Lutheran for the title tomorrow at 4:30pm in Swanson Gymnasium.
