The 1996 Bears (Grimm – #28)

On this day 23 years ago, the girls’ lacrosse team topped Lindenhurst, 13-11.

The Bears fell behind early as the Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead just eight minutes into the game, but Dianne Grimm’s five first half goals propelled the Brook to a 7-6 halftime lead. Grimm scored her sixth goal with 11 minutes remaining to give the Bears a 12-9 edge and they never looked back. Grimm also added 2 assists on the day.
