Yesterday afternoon, the wrestling team wrapped up a 3-1 PSAA season with a 42-24 win over North Shore Hebrew Academy.
Forest Kaplan-Walbrecht, Eze Barrah, and Max Chambers all picked up six points via forfeit, while Finn Rubman and Alan Wang earned pins for the Brook. The win gave the Bears a 2nd place finish in the PSAA standings, behind only undefeated Martin Luther.
This weekend, 10 Bears move on to the NYSAIS State Championship: Kaplan-Walbrecht (106 lbs), Carter Brett (132), Yinka Ashiru (138), Joe Spreckels (145), Bob Wu (145), Finn Rubman (152), Cade Smith (182), Adetona Adesina (182), Eze Barrah (195), and Max Chambers (220).
