On Monday afternoon, the girls’ varsity basketball team improved to 2-1 in the PSAA East Division with a 41-28 victory over St. Demetrios.

The Bears Led 8-2 after the first quarter, then used a 15-10 second frame to build an 11-point halftime lead. A 14-2 third quarter sealed the win.

Beth Felix led all scorers with 17 while Bekah Detwiler (7), Niamh Scanlon (6), Liz Robbins (4), Sarah Hull (2), and Nadia Hall (1) rounded out a balanced scoring attack for the Blue & White.
