This afternoon, the girls’ tennis team wrapped up an undefeated PSAA East Division Championship season with a 4-1 win at Portledge to earn the program’s first title since 2014. It is also the program’s first PSAA title in their first season in the league.

Sadhana Sridhar (6-0, 6-1), Marta Bennett (6-0, 6-0), and Nicolette Carlo (6-3, 6-2) carved through the singles matches to clinch the victory, while Mary Wang and Louise Lin (7-5, 6-3) won the second doubles match to cap the win.

The Bears are back in action on Wednesday in a non-league match-up with Columbia Prep before hosting Grace Church in the semifinals of the PSAA Tournament on Thursday.
