Romeus Powers Waldorf Rout

On Tuesday afternoon, the boys’ soccer team improved to 6-2-1 in PSAA play with a dominant 7-1 win over Waldorf. The Bears stormed out to a 4-1 lead in the first half before putting the game away with three more scores in the second.

Sophomore Mo Romeus was the offensive catalyst for the Bears, notching 2 goals to go along with a pair of assists. Jai Narain (2 goals/1 assist), Owen Sobel (2 goals), and Pavel Portnoy (1 goal) rounded out the scoring for the Brook. Bob Wu (1) and Tiger Winston (1) also added assists for the Blue and White. Lael Kutame recorded 2 saves in goal.

With the win, the Bears move into sole possession of second place in the PSAA East, just two points behind Our Savior. The Bears are back in action on Thursday afternoon in a league match-up at Solomon Schechter.
