The 2018 boys’ tennis squad (PC: Bruce Jeffrey)

This morning the Division III Tennis Championships begin at Mt. Sinai where nine Bears will battle against the best from Leagues V and VI. Preliminary rounds will be played today, quarterfinals and semifinals go off on Saturday, with the Championship rounds settled on Monday.

Here are the pairings:

Doubles

  • Alex Kim & Jake Macaspac vs. Miller Place #1
  • Andy Liu & Alan Wang vs. Middle Country #3
  • #2 Brandon Gicquel & Steven Ou vs. Bye (Await the winner of Liu/Wang vs. Middle Country)

Singles

  • #8 Wensan Yin vs. Miller Place #2
  • Bradley Choi vs. Mt. Sinai #1
  • Pratik Harjani vs. Bayport-Blue Point #3
