Passalacqua slides into second during the 2002 season

On this day 16 years ago, Anthony Passalacqua ’99 registered 3 RBIs in Erskine College’s 7-2 win over Mt. Olive.

The former Bear hit a 2-run home run in the first inning, connected on an RBI single in the second, and singled again in the sixth to finish 3-for-5 at the plate. He added three runs and a stolen base for good measure.

Passalacqua finished the 2002 season with a .360 batting avgerage, 63 hits, 5 home runs, and 51 RBIs in 48 games.
