
On this day 10 years ago, Greg Titus ’03 scored a hat trick in Salisbury University’s 6-3 men’s lacrosse victory over Denison.
The former Bear knotted the game at 3-3 with 11:20 left in the third quarter, then scored the eventual game-winner 53 seconds into the fourth quarter, giving the Sea Gulls a lead they would not relinquish. He capped Salisbury’s 4-0 game-ending run on a goal with 6:40 remaining to help the nation’s top-ranked team improve to 8-0.
Salisbury would finish the season undefeated and defend their National Championship, during which Titus scored 2 goals and added 3 assists. Titus would finish his senior season with an Honorable Mention All-American nod after finishing 8th in the nation in goals (54) & 32nd in points (64).
