On this day 16 years ago, Anthony Passalacqua ’99 knocked in the game-winning run in Erskine College’s 5-4 win over Claflin University.

The Flying Fleets trailed 0-4 heading into the bottom of the 6th when they rallied to knot the score at 4-4. With two outs and a runner on second, Passalacqua drilled the eventual game-winning hit.

Passalacqua finished the 2002 season with a .360 batting avgerage, 63 hits, 5 home runs, and 51 RBIs in 48 games.
