Yesterday afternoon, the boys’ and girls’ badminton teams each topped visiting Northport to complete the season sweep against the Tigers.
The boys did not drop a match in a 9-0 win that was nearly identical to their victory on March 28. The four doubles tandems of David Wang and Tony Yu (15-13, 17-16), Ulysses Zhang and Jack Yu (15-2, 15-9), Alex Yu and Leo Yang (15-13, 15-3), and Caleb Spreckels and Justin Kim (15-0, 15-0) completed the sweep. The Bears are now 10-6 on the season.
On the girls’ side, the Bears chased the Tigers in an 8-1 win that was also nearly a carbon copy of their victory on March 28.
