
On Sunday, Rod Odom ’09 recorded a double-double, with game-highs in points and rebounds, but Virtus Bologna fell 69-65 to 10th-ranked Juvecaserta.
13th-ranked Bologna trailed by seven at halftime, but surged in the third quarter to grab a four-point edge heading into the fourth. In the decisive frame, Juvecaserta outscored Bologna 22-14 to steal the victory. Bologna made it tougher on themselves by registering 23 turnovers.
Odom was impressive in the loss with 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including two 3-pointers, and 14 rebounds in 29 minutes.
Bologna (7-13) will face-off next against top-ranked Armani Milano on Feb. 28.
