On this day seven years ago, Greg Titus ’03 scored 3 goals and added an assist in a 10-5 win for Salisbury University over Mary Washington.
Mary Washington jumped out to an early lead and held an edge until late in the third quarter, but the nationally top-ranked Seagulls, led by Titus, battled back to improve to 12-0 on the season. The senior attackman led all scorers on the day.
Titus and Salisbury would go on to win their fourth National Championship in five years and Titus would end his college career with the distinction of having never lost a single game.
