
This morning the New York State Sportswriters Association released the All-State boys’ basketball team and named Tim Pandolfi to the 3rd Team after his fantastic senior season for the Bears. In averaging 26.5 points per game, Pandolfi guided the Brook to a second place finish in League VIII and an 11th straight playoff berth. Some other highlights of his season included:
- Scoring 38 points, including his 1,000th, while battling the flu in a win over Port Jeff
- Being named All-County, the first boys’ basketball player since Jon Marvin in 1998
- Leading Long Island in points per game
- Becoming just the sixth member of the 1,000 point club
