Apazidis in action last year (PC: Bruce Jeffrey)

The boys’ and girls’ track and field teams made the most of last week’s unseasonably warm temperatures with strong performances at three invitationals around Long Island. Five Bears currently lead their respective events in the latest NYSAIS rankings, including Scarlett Davey (400), Duncan Kipkoech (1600), Evelyn Apazidis (2K Steeplechase), and Zach Mogambi (Discus & Shot Put).

In addition, Mogambi is currently 3rd overall in the state in the discus.

Here is a look at where the Bears stack up on the NYSAIS top 10 lists.
