Yesterday evening, the girls’ volleyball juggernaut traveled to Kew-Forest for a PSAA match-up and came away with a 3-0 victory for their 23rd consecutive sweep against PSAA competition, including postseason play.
The Bears never let the Jaguars into the match as they overwhelmed their hosts by scores of 25-8, 25-10, and 25-15. Lilly Keegan notched 8 aces and 9 kills, Ava McCormick 2 aces and 6 kills, Niamh Scanlon 2 aces and 2 kills, Gillian Bernier 1 ace and 11 kills, Sandy Tao 1 ace, Ella Middlekauff 2 kills, and Georgia Apazidis 1 kill.
The victory also gave the Bears a 42nd consecutive league victory as they continue to break their own school record in the category. They are back in action this afternoon in a home match-up with Heschel.
