NYSAIS Track Rankings

Davey is one of the fastest 8th-graders in America (PC: Bruce Jeffrey)

The warm temperatures and deep competition from last Thursday’s PSAA Championship provided fertile ground for some of the best track and field performances of the year. Nick Zemitis (high jump) and Zach Mogambi (discus) currently lead NYSAIS in their respective events while Scarlett Davey is 3rd overall in the 400 meters, #1 among all New York eighth-graders and the #18 eighth-grader in the nation.

Here is a look at where the Bears stack up on the NYSAIS top 10 lists.

Girls’ 100 Meters

  • 10th: Scarlett Davey – 13.15

Girls’ 200 Meters

  • 10th: Scarlett Davey – 27.63

Girls’ 400 Meters

  • 3rd: Scarlett Davey – 60.47

Girls’ 100 Meter Hurdles

  • 6th: Lilly Keegan – 17.30
  • 9th: Niamh Scanlon – 18.27

Girls’ High Jump
