On this day 18 years ago, Nick Miaritis ’01 had four points in Georgetown University’s 10-5 win over Delaware.

The 6th-ranked Hoyas held a 3-2 lead after the first quarter, but Miaritis scored the second of two straight goals to push the lead to 5-2 in the second frame. After the Fightin’ Blue Hens closed to within 3-5, Georgetown scored the next five goals to put the game away.

Miaritis finished his day with a goal and 3 assists. He finished fourth on the team in points that season with 24.
