On this day 17 years ago, Greg Titus ’03 scored his first of 133 career goals in Salisbury University’s 22-12 win over Roanoke. The Sea Gulls went on to finish the season undefeated on the way to the National Championship, a feat they repeated the following year.
By 2007, Titus was a key cog in the Gulls’ offensive machine that again finished as undefeated National Champions. That season he recorded 16 hat tricks, led Division III in goals (76) and was 5th in points (91) to earn an Honorable Mention All-American nod.
In 2008, Titus finished his college lacrosse career without a single loss as Salisbury again finished the season as undefeated National Champs. The former Bear was 8th in the nation in goals (54) and 32nd in points (64), including his 2 goals and 3 assists in the National Championship win over Cortland State. His strong senior season earned him another Honorable Mention All-American recognition.
