On Saturday, Jyles Etienne ’17 earned his second victory of the spring season by jumping 6′ 8″ to win the high jump in the second Big Ten Invitational of the season, Hosted by Indiana University.
The former Bear passed at the first three heights, then cleared 6′ 4.75″, 6′ 6.25″, and 6′ 8″ on his first attempts to win the competition, before bowing out on three straight jumps at 6′ 9.75″.
Jyles and the Hoosiers are back in action this weekend at the Husker Big Ten Invitational in Prairie View, TX.
