Last weekend, seven swimmers traveled to Lancaster, PA for the prestigious Easterns Championships, held annually since 1935.

Hunter Markowitz headlined an excellent showing for the Bears by breaking his own 1:00.62 school record breaststroke mark with a 1:00.12 finals time. The senior also turned in a season best 200 freestyle time of 1:48.14.

Sofia Arrascue, Amelia Griffin, Rebecca Crane, and Ruthie Crane combined for season best times in the 200 medley relay (1:59.80) and 200 freestyle relay (1:46.91) finals. Also turning in season best times were Robbie Fehrenbach (100 butterfly/1:01.25 & 100 freestyle/54.76), Amelia Griffin (100 freestyle/1:01.14), and Ruthie Crane (500 freestyle/5:39.02).
