This afternoon, the boys’ tennis team improved to 4-1 in the PSAA with a 5-0 win over Long Island Lutheran. The victory sets up a key match-up with Portledge in Friday’s regular season finale where a win would give the Bears a share of the regular season East Division Championship.

Brandon Gicquel (8-0), Wensan Yin (8-0), and Jackson Petroske (8-4) swept singles while Jovan Haynes and Pratik Harjani (8-3) and Andy Liu and Jake Macaspac (8-0) closed the win with doubles victories.

The Bears are back in action on Friday at Portledge before looking ahead to the playoffs.
