This afternoon, the badminton team clinched the outright regular season championship with a 9-1 victory over Portledge. The Bears improved to 7-0 in the league with one match to play.

Jerry Liu (15-9, 15-7), Tony Yu (15-10, 15-7), Leslie Kang (15-11, 15-3), and Nancy Man (15-5, 15-8) took the singles matches, while Caleb Spreckels and Jack Yu (15-7, 15-12), David Chen and Ben Sray (13-15, 15-7, 15-3), Ella Liu and Lily Zhang (15-1, 15-6), Jessie Wang and Ruby Li (15-8, 15-9), and Sam Wong and Lianna Keegan (15-11, 15-7) swept the doubles matches.

The Bears are back in action on May 8 with a chance to close out an undefeated regular season at Portledge.
