This afternoon, in non-league matches with Plainview, the boys’ badminton team cruised to a 6-1 victory while the girls edged the Hawks, 4-3.

On the boys’ side, Jerry Liu (21-19), Glen Choi (21-16), Tony Yu (21-19), Kevin Zhang (21-13), and Frank Cheng (21-15) swept singles while Caleb Spreckels and Ian Liu won their doubles match, 21-7.

For the girls, Mary Wang (21-8), Leslie Kang (21-19), and Nancy Man (21-15) won their singles matches while Lily Zhang and Ella Liu won their doubles match. to secure the narrow win.

The team, currently undefeated atop the PSAA standings, is back in action on Thursday in a league match-up at Knox.
