On This Day in History | 1937

On this day 82 years ago, the mile relay team of Reeve Sweezey, David Watt, Lee Redard, and Walter Oman finished 3rd in their race at the Penn Relays in a time of 3:34, matching the 1936 team for the highest finish to that point in school history.

The 1949 team won the first Penn Relays title for the Brook followed by Champions in ’51, ’58, ’60, ’65, ’77, ’93, and ’04.
