On this day five years ago, the boys’ basketball team swatted away Bridgehampton, 70-48, on the Killer Bees’ home court.

The Bears led 15-7 after one, then extended the lead to 28-18 at halftime, before putting the game away with a 24-13 third quarter.

Freshman Chase Audige led the way with 24 points while adding 8 rebounds and 7 steals. Andrew Daniel added a double-double with 18 points and 18 rebounds while Eli Davis (16), Brandon Odom (5), Asaiah Wilson (4), and Josh Agyei-Gyamfi (3) rounded out the scoring.

The Bears went on to secure a third consecutive League Championship and a second straight County Championship.
