On this day 38 years ago, Kevin Lockerbie ’77 helped lead the University of North Carolina men’s track team past South Carolina, 64-58.

The former Brooker was part of the mile relay team that took first in 3:21.0, aided by Skip Miller, Willie Cummings, and Wayne Miller.

Later that spring, Lockerbie helped the mile relay team win gold at the outdoor ACC Championships.
