Yesterday afternoon, the golf team closed their regular season with a victory over Connetquot in a scrimmage on a cold and windy day at Pine Ridge Golf Club.

The Bears saved their finest performances for the season’s toughest match day as they fought temperatures in the upper-40s and a stiff breeze. Steven Ou shot a season-best 38, Steven Saraniero shot a season-best 45, Jake Dessart recorded a 47, and Harry Apazidis turned in a season-best 48 as the Bears out-stroked the Thunderbirds, 178-190.

That closes the fall season for the golf team. They will compete in the PSAA Golf Championship in May at the Glen Cove Golf Club.
