On this day 44 years ago, the boys’ cross country team completed an undefeated League Championship season with a 19-40 win over Rocky Point.

The Shrikes were led by Don Lockerbie, who went on to clinch the League VII individual title, along with Mark Whitney, Brad Bright, Larry Swanson, and Doug Alexander.
