This afternoon, the girls’ tennis team remained undefeated in PSAA play with their second 5-0 sweep in as many days over Solomon Schechter. With the win, the Bears remain atop the PSAA East Division Standings at 5-0.

The Lions arrived late, so due to time constraints the girls played pro set matches instead of the normal best 2-of-3 sets. Sadhana Sridhar (8-0), Marta Bennett (8-1), and Nicolette Carlo (forfeit) dominated the singles matches while Tina Luo and Ali Birgeles (8-1) and Alicia Hwang and Meadow Azaz (8-1) ensured that the seniors walked off the blue courts with a win in their final regular season home match.

The Bears are back in action on Friday in a league match-up at the Knox School.
